DROP THE RACE

I've been wond'ring if I'm already over you
If this feeling I have has gone through
Then I realized, it is still here
Never gone, just little unclear

I don't know why I still do these
Thinking 'bout you, writing poetries
But one thing's for sure--I still love you
That I still long and ache for you

I said that I'd stop writing about you
But you're still giving me reasons to
The way you play your piano, guitar
And in the way you smile, I still see a star

Babe, I really want to let you go
And I swear I already have done so
I've tried to let go of this feeling
I've tried to stop hoping, dreaming

Maybe it's hard 'coz we got a history
Which feels like an endless misery
'Coz it wasn't about us or you and me
It was a melancholic novel about "me," not "we"

It's hard but I know that I have to move on
That I should stop from this marathon
The race for your acceptance and--love
Love that I know from you, I'd never have
