Heaven-sent

For months you carried me in your womb

And in your heart you gave me a room

You patiently waited to see me face to face

And longed to give me your warmest embrace

I was born and you made me see the world's beauty

And offered me your purest love, unconditionally

Growing up, you provided me everything I need

And filled me with life lessons to help me succeed

You nurtured me to be the best person I can be

And you believed in every ability I have in me

You taught me how to stand up whenever I fall

And you are there to pick me up even when I don't call

I know that being a mother was never easy

But thank God 'coz He gives you strength daily

I know that sacrificing everything for us is hard

But thank you 'coz you still do and never get tired

I know that you're someone that God sent from above

To shower us with incomparable and overflowing love

I am so blessed for having a great mother like you
